MINUTES OF MEETING OF
THE CARMEL CHAPTER OF FBLA

The regular meeting of the officers of the Carmel Chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America was held at the Carmel High School on Wednesday, November 10, 1999. The meeting was called to order at 2:10pm by President Nao Valentino; Recording Secretary Phil Gold, was present.

Attendance is listed below.

The secretary read the officer meeting minutes from November 5, 1999. The minutes were adopted as read by unanimous consent.

Officers were reminded that the district volleyball event is on November 21, 1999.

The Parliamentary Procedures workshops are scheduled for Wednesday, November 17, 1999, and Tuesday, November 23, 1999. All members will have the opportunity to attend one of these meetings by scheduling the two workshops on different days of the week.

The Silent Auction will be held on November 20, 1999, and training for this event will be held on November 17, at 2:30 with Mrs. Braja. Mrs. Braja was originally scheduled to meet with members at 2:00, but the time was postponed to 2:30 so that Joe Remy would be able to start the Parliamentary Procedures workshop before his meeting with her.

Christine Lazzari motioned for the Carmel Chapter to assist in the town tree lighting on December 2nd and 3rd. The motion was adopted.

Phil Gold motioned to appropriate funds to register and setup the domain name carmelfbla.org for the chapter website not to exceed $150 for two years. The motion was adopted.

Christine Lazzari motioned to appropriate $1957 to pay for the completion of the community service project, children�s book. The motion was adopted.

Christine Lazzari motioned to have pizza and soda at the holiday party in December. The motioned was adopted.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:20pm
