Canned Food Drive
The Carmel Chapter of FBLA held our 6th Canned Food Drive for the Putnam County Humane Society. Throughout the months of November to December, members collected canned food and helped raise contributions for this cause.
The activity was cleared through the organizers of our schools annual "Kids Day" event and members ran a collection table at the entrance. In addition, members brought in canned food and received membership point for their services.
The outcome of the drive was good. We collected 150 lbs of food and made a donation of $45 to the Putnam County Humane Society. All members enjoyed the activity and could easily understand the benefits of the project. The planning was well conceived and executed. Gratitude came in the form of a thank you letter.
